This locality is world famous for fine yellow gem anglesite. This miniature is quite neat, showing a combination of a yellow gem quality glassy terminated anglesite crystal measuring 1.8 cm in length set in a vug with needle-like colorless crystals of terminated cerussite to 0.8 cm in length. There is a twinned cerussite crystal studded upon the termination of the anglesite. Very clean of damage - this is very good.

A superb old-time classic miniature showing sharp rare tetrahexahedral groupings of native copper crystals, the largest measuring to 0.8 x 0.6 x 0.6 cm in size. No damage; the crystals show a good patina. Very rare crystal habit for native copper as shown in The Mineralogical Record, volume 23, page 47.

This mining district is well known for having produced the finest erythrite specimens known. The large miniature shown here is excellent with rich bladed purplish red crystals to 2.3 cm in length filling the top of matrix. Very minor rubbing that is typical for this notoriously soft mineral; overall I feel that this is in excellent condition damage-wise. Choice for the species! Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 38: 345-407.
